Last Updated: December 17, 2025
Welcome to Inherited Dynamics ("Inherited Dynamics," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
The App is published by LONG-AWAITED GUESTS LIMITED, a company registered in Cyprus, and is designed to help individuals understand Family Systems Theory and how family dynamics shape personality and relationships. Our company is based in Cyprus (EU), and we comply with relevant data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily
- Account Information: If you choose to create an authenticated account, we collect your email address and name. The App initially creates an anonymous account automatically, which you can later convert to an authenticated account using email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
- Onboarding Responses: During the onboarding quiz, we collect your responses to questions about your life areas of concern, family background, and personal experiences. This data helps personalize your learning experience.
- Learning Progress: We track your progress through lessons, chapters, quiz responses, psychological test answers, and collected insights to provide course continuity and calculate your personal metrics.
- Psychological Assessment Data: Responses to psychological assessments are processed to calculate metrics such as Differentiation of Self dimensions and Triangle Type. These metrics are displayed in your profile.
- User-Generated Content: Any notes, reflections, or feedback you submit through the App.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device Information: Device identifiers, operating system version, device model, and app version.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use the App, including sessions, screens viewed, buttons tapped, lessons started and completed, time spent on activities, and navigation patterns.
- Analytics Data: We collect analytics events to understand user behavior and improve the App (e.g., onboarding completion rates, lesson engagement, feature usage).
- Performance Data: Crash reports, error logs, and performance metrics to identify and fix technical issues.
- IP Address: Collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.
- Advertising ID: If you consent to tracking, we may collect your device's advertising identifier for attribution purposes.
2.3 Payment Information
For subscription purchases, payment information is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive only transaction confirmation and subscription status information. We do not have access to your credit card or payment method details.
2.4 Push Notification Data
If you enable push notifications, we collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token, device timezone, and notification preferences (including your preferred reminder time) to send you personalized daily reminders.
We do not collect precise geolocation data, health information, or government-issued identification documents.
3. How We Collect Your Data
- App Registration: When you sign up for an authenticated account through the App's sign-up flow (email, Google, or Apple Sign-In).
- Onboarding Process: Responses to onboarding quiz questions are saved immediately as you answer each question.
- Automatic Collection: Certain data is collected automatically through your device when you use the App.
- Third-Party SDKs: We integrate with the following third-party service providers, who also collect data on our behalf or receive some of the data we collect:
- Firebase (Google) - Authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging
- Adapty - Subscription management and revenue analytics
- Adjust - Attribution and marketing analytics

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

- Push Notifications: Send daily reminders and streak warnings (if you enable notifications) based on your timezone and preferred reminder time.
- Analytics and Improvement: Understand how users interact with the App, measure feature engagement, and improve content and user experience. We use aggregated, anonymized data for these insights.
- Marketing Analytics: Measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and user acquisition channels through attribution data. We do not show third-party ads within the App.
5. How We Share Your Data
We may share certain data with the following third parties to facilitate our services:
- Firebase (Google): Stores all app data (user profiles, progress, content) and provides authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and push notification services.
